In the spirit of upcoming Super Bowl XLIV, Gina and I have taken to spending a few minutes every evening dueling it out on Mattel’s Classic Football, also known as “The 70’s Game Sensation!”  Amp up the Supertramp and we are trading touchdowns like nobody’s business.  I mean really, who needs a Wii when you can take a tiny red dot of light and run it downfield like Walter Payton, dodging other tiny red dots of light until you hear the magical 3-noted tune signaling Touchdown!

It might be a new decade in a not-so-new-anymore century, but around here these days, when the lights go down and the LED begins to glow, it’s 1977 again and we are celebrating the simple life once more.
