Weather, weather, weather. This is the focus of our off day here in Tallahassee. It’s still thundering and lightning and raining and we’ve had the Weather Channel tuned in most of the day from our happy-to-not-be-camping room at the Tallahassee Motel 6. The still photos and videos of the severe flooding that stretches behind us – including a missing chunk of road on the route we just cycled – are amazing. Pretty lucky, I’d say, that although we got caught up in it, we were actually ahead of the worst of it.
