Boppard to Bacharach (28 Km)

In case anyone is wondering, we’ve been McDonalds-free for the past week.  This is probably a good thing in light of the fact that all we can afford to carry right now is catastrophic health insurance.

It was a short ride today, but not uninteresting, us doing our best to stay ahead of a trailing rain squall and that rain squall doing its best to catch us.  It did, sort of, but our fleet feet eventually out-raced it to the riverside town of Bacharach.  Now of all the towns we’ve said are Super Cute, this one is definitely near the top of that category.  Painted alleys, hillside vineyards, and a castle with a kiosk of beer.  I think we’ll stay awhile.
