Around Koge
33 miles
“I like these castles that are closed to the public,” says Gina as we pedal toward one in the countryside outside of Koge, “because then you don’t have to decide whether or not to pay to go in.” This pretty much sums up our cultural experiences throughout all of Europe – are they free or do they cost and if the latter, are they worth it or will they just make us groggy and wishing we were back outside? So maybe we aren’t the most cultured of travelers, but we do know good scenery when we find it and today, we found some.
This is all part of Plan D: Don’t move. Forward, that is. We’re enjoying our campground cabin so much that we’ve decided to stay, at least for another night or two. Time to let the panniers sit. Time to let our minds relax. Time to search for the route out.
